When should you book?
The earlier the better, especially if your wedding falls in peak season. For popular summer dates we recommend booking three to six months in advance. That said, we regularly arrange players at shorter notice too, so if your date is soon it is always worth asking.
Decide which moments you want
Dhol players can perform at several points across a wedding. The most popular are:
- The baraat, or groom's entrance procession
- The bride or couple's grand entrance to the reception
- Key dancefloor moments and energy peaks through the evening
- Welcoming guests on arrival
Knowing which moments matter most to you helps shape the booking and the quote.
How many players?
Two players is the most popular choice for weddings, giving a powerful, full sound. One player suits smaller gatherings, while a larger group makes an unforgettable statement for a grand entrance. Our guide on how many dhol players you need breaks this down.
What to check before you book
- Experience. Every player in our network has over 10 years of experience.
- Reliability. Ask what happens if something changes last minute. We arrange backup cover so your day is never affected.
- Clear pricing. Make sure your quote is all in, covering travel and timings, with no surprises. Ours always is.
For a full breakdown of costs, see our guide on how much it costs to book a dhol player.
